Happy Valentine’s Day Miracle Makers! This holiday, spread love across campus while supporting ECDM and Boston Children’s Hospital by participating in our candy gram fundraiser! from 2/6-2/8, purchase a candy gram and have it delivered to your loved ones on Valentine’s Day! Prices are as follows: 1 candy gram for $3, 3 for $7, and 5 for $12. As for additional upcoming events, our Dancing with the Stars event will take place on 3/22, which allows for EC students and staff alike to get together and have fun! Our main event is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th from 10am-6pm in the gym! We can’t wait to see you all soon!!
Winter Push Month!
Hello Miracle Makers and Happy Holidays from EC Dance Marathon! We are so excited to reflect on 2022 and all of our efforts! We are also excited to look forward to what we have planned for 2023, as well as our current winter push month promotion! From now until January 5th, 2023, ECDM is promoting personal fundraising by giving away two gift cards to miracle makers who help us work toward our goals and raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital. To be eligible for either gift card, you must raise a minimum of $100. The top raiser will win a $50 gift card to Target, and another lucky winner will receive a $25 gift card to Dunkin! We look forward to the rest of push month with all of you, as well as sharing what we have planned for the Spring!
Welcome to ECDM 2023!
Hello miracle makers and welcome back! We are so excited to see you all again and begin preparations for ECDM 2023! The ECDM board has already begun planning events and fundraisers for the rest of the semester, as well as brainstorming ideas for our main event in the spring. We are absolutely thrilled to continue our efforts in supporting Boston Children’s Hospital, and we look forward to working towards these goals with you! Keep an eye out for further information regarding our upcoming events in the coming weeks!
How Sweet is Emmanuel College!
This past Valentine’s Day, the students at Emmanuel College participated in a candy gram fundraiser. 115 students woke up on February 14th to a candy gram placed outside their door or at the commuter lounge!

“The Candy Gram fundraiser was a creative way to raise awareness for ECDM on our campus; all the while increasing ticket purchases to the upcoming Dance Marathon and donations to their cause.”
Throughout the duration of this fundraiser, ECDM was able to raise $369 for the kids at Boston Children’s.
Not only did this increase student engagement with ECDM but it gave students the opportunity to give back to their loved ones on campus.
Furthermore, in terms of upcoming events, ECDM is having a fundraiser this Wednesday at Blaze Pizza. If you show the attached flyer below on February 16, 2022, a portion of your proceeds will be given back to ECDM!

What ECDM is Thankful For
As we kick off the 2021 holiday season, ECDM wanted to take some time to reflect on what we have to be thankful for! As a collective, the ECDM community is thankful for the opportunity to fundraise and make a difference for our friends down the street at Boston Children’s Hospital!
In terms of giving thanks, however, we wanted to get even more personal and hear from our ECDM Miracle Makers and Executive Board! Here’s what our team had to be thankful for this year!

From the bottom of our hearts, none of this could be possible without each and every one of you. The life changing money raised through ECDM and the all the hard work, time, and dedication it takes does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
While fundraising, tabling, and our event looked a little different this year, one thing remained ever constant: our love and dedication to the miracle children at Boston Children’s Hospital. These children and their families are going through enough as it is, add a global pandemic, and the challenge is even greater. Their perseverance is inspiring and the love and support you all have given them this past year is moving. Though we wish we could be together to share the FTK magic, even from far away we still made a difference and you will never know how much that means to us.
To our fellow board members, thank you. Thank you for your time, effort, and drive. You all played such an important role over the past year and we are so lucky to have you.
To our faculty advisor, Susan, thank you for supporting us from far away and allowing us to take the lead and give it all we can to Boston Children’s.
To our directors, without you, none of this would be possible. Valbona, Alexis, Dylan, Amber and Emily went above and beyond this past year, never letting us down, and supporting us through it all. In under a year, they changed the ECDM format, switching to virtual fundraising and events, and never losing the FTK magic.
Thank you to everyone who is apart of ECDM, no matter what your role is, every donation, every shared post, and every effort has made a difference over the past year.
We’ll see you again next year!
